I've worked in finance since 2013: funding, financing and lending, on the side of the table that writes the terms. I watched business owners wait 30, 60, 90 days for money they'd already earned, then reach for financing they didn't fully understand and find the real cost after they'd signed.
In 2020 I started my own real estate development company here in St. Petersburg, and I went through all of it as the owner: making payroll and paying vendors while waiting on someone else's timeline, shopping for financing, sitting through sales pitches, reading teaser rates and fine print, and still having no simple way to compare one offer against another. I've felt that pain, more than once.
There had to be an easier process: see every option, see every fee, nothing hidden, and decide for yourself without a salesperson in the room. That's what Fairgate is.
